Overview Certified SEO Associate
SEOAso certification gives an ideal entry to the world of search engine optimization. It certifies the basic understanding and knowledge of information retrieval, search engine ranking factors, essential on-page and off-page optimization techniques.

By obtaining the certificate, candidates will have a proven mastering of fundamental search engine optimization concepts, knowledge and skills.

SEOAso is best suited for those who are interested to learn and explore the field of SEO/SEM, it is an entry level certification.

Certified SEO Associate Qualification Process
There are two tasks a candidate has to accomplish to qualified as a certified SEO Associate. He/she will need to take and pass one SEO theory exam, write and submit one SEO essay.

Task 1: Take and pass the Associate SEO Certification Exam.
The Associate SEO Certification Exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions, candidate has to answer at least 45 correctly within 60 minutes in order to pass.
Following topics will be covered in the SEO Aso Exam.
a. search engine principles
b. code of ethics
c. on-page optimization
d. off-page optimization
e. SEO monitoring and maintenance

Task 2: write and submit an SEO related essay.
The essay has 500-2000 words, two options will be given for the essay topics, candidate is free to choose either one. The essay shall then be marked and reviewed by 3 certified SEO professionals, if it scores more than 60 marks out of the total 100 on average, it will be considered as pass, after that the essay will be displayed online for further feedback or comments from users. if no objection is received during the first 60 days, task 2 will then be considered as accomplished.

When both of the two tasks are done successfully, candidate will then be issued with the SEOAso certification and his/her certification profile will be available online for global access.
